Geographical area: It is a species typical of the Mediterranean region. Each year they migrate north across the Alps, introduced to North America.
Feeding: Caterpillars feed on most Euphorbias, including summer grass. The adult butterfly is crepuscular, it becomes active at dusk, it feeds on nectar and lives for one or two weeks. All sphinx caterpillars are buried to pupate, do not forget to buy coconut fiber.
